Date announced for 16-21 European Championships, Athens

The above competition is scheduled 14 to 17 June 2012, Athens (and is for 16-21, not 18-21 as previously publicised) and is open for registration of interest for athletes wishing to be considered for selection.

Weight divisions for this competition will be WTF senior weight divisions and competition age entries are born in years 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996.

If you wish to be considered to represent the Great Britain Taekwondo Team at this Championships you are required to submit an “expression of interest” by 30 April 2012.

The selection criteria outlines the procedure Sport Taekwondo UK Ltd use to select the team, the eligibility athletes require and the process athletes need to follow to register interest for consideration for selection.

Athletes selected for this event will be expected to self fund this competition.  However, STUK will endeavour to identify any funding opportunities to support participation.
