60 SECOND INTERVIEW

WHEN DID YOU START TAEKWONDO AND WHY:
I started Taekwondo in January 2018 and moved over from Karate - just for a new challenge and because I want to get into the Olympics. I originally began doing Karate when I was young (three) as my Dad did it and taught me. Everyone in my family does it, apart from my Mum.

OTHER SPORTS PLAYED:
I used to play rugby and even got to a professional academy level but didn't carry on as I didn't enjoy it. I also played football, casually too.

AMBITION:
To go to the Olympics.

WHY SHOULD THE PUBLIC WATCH TAEKWONDO IN YOUR OPINION?
Every fight is different and literally, anything can happen at any second. Now that I've got a better understanding of it, it is harder than it looks.

WHO IS YOUR SPORTING ROLE MODEL?
Floyd Mayweather. He's had a lot of adversity in his life but is still one of the best boxers in the world. Every fight he goes into, he does with a strong mindset and believes he's going to win regardless.

IF SOMEONE GAVE YOU £1 MILLION, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT:
I'd buy a house and then go shopping. Maybe book a big holiday!

SOMETHING YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT BRANDON JEWELL:
I first came on the TV when I was two. I had a foot operation at the same time that my Dad had a face one and we were featured on a programme similar to 24 hours in A&E.
