GB Taekwondo is delighted to announce that it has secured continued investment from Sport England and the National Lottery for the Talent Pathway programme over the next four year cycle, 2017-21.

Pathway Manager Steve Green said: “This is fabulous news for the programme and for the long term prospects of our talented athletes.

“The funding we have secured from Sport England will enable us to focus on identifying, recruiting and developing young athletes in the 13-18 age bracket, providing them with both the best experience and the best opportunity possible for them to achieve their full potential.

“We hope to build on the success of Rio and to provide access to our pathway for talent to flourish, whether they come through taekwondo or other martial arts and combats sports. We’re extremely grateful that Sport England and National Lottery are providing the support needed to achieve this.”
