Para Taekwondo World Champion, Amy Truesdale has taken gold at the US Para Open in Las Vegas today.

The 29-year-old took down her Russian opponent in the K44 +58kg Semi-Final with a 12 point gap before finding herself in the Final up against an American contender.

Keen to begin 2018 in the right way, Truesdale continued her winning streak by defeating the fighter with another 12 point gap.
