Hall facing Selection Headache Ahead Of Rio

GB Taekwondo performance director Gary Hall admits he is facing a selection headache with Rio 2016 looming large on the horizon.

London 2012 bronze medallist Lutalo Muhammad proved he is back to his best following a knee injury as he beat Aaron Cook to claim men’s -80kg gold at the World Grand Prix finals.

But he isn’t the only Brit to shine in that division with Damon Sansum having won World Championship silver back in May in Russia.

Only one can be selected for Team GB when they announce their Rio squad in June, and Hall is not giving anything away.

“There is no doubt Lutalo has done an exceptional job but Damon has also done an exceptional job in winning the world silver medal,” he said.
