Around 100 of the UK’s most promising martial artists put their skills to the test this weekend (23-24 Feb) at Phase One of Fighting Chance: Battle4Brazil – the first talent ID campaign UK Sport has launched since London 2012.

Great Britain Taekwondo is pleased to announce the launch of its first coaching qualification in WTF Taekwondo. After receiving Sport England investment in March 2011 to drive athlete development through the design and implementation of the England Talent Pathway, the programme is now launching a comprehensive coach education qualification. In a series of exciting coach education initiatives, the programme aims to improve English athlete development by working closely with British Taekwondo club coaches to maximise their technical and tactical knowledge.
