Olympic Taekwondo Champion Jade Jones Welcomes New National Centre In Manchester

The state-of-the-art facility, which opened at the Ten Acres Sports Complex on Monday, March 7, will be the home of GB Taekwondo and gives star athletes like London 2012 gold medallist Jones a permanent base.

Olympic taekwondo champion Jade Jones has welcomed the new world-class facility designed for Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls as the new National Taekwondo Centre opens in Newton Heath.

The state-of-the-art facility, which opened at the Ten Acres Sports Complex on Monday, March 7, will be the home of GB Taekwondo and gives star athletes like London 2012 gold medallist Jones a permanent base where all of their training and conditioning needs are met under one roof.
