Double Olympic champion Jade Jones has spoken of her relief to take gold for a second time…but says she hopes it isn’t over yet.

Speaking from her mum Jayne Ferguson’s home in Flint, the 23-year-old told of her “relief”after claiming her second title at the Rio Olympics with a stunning 16-7 win over rival Eva Calvo Gomez in the -57kg category.

But after a well-earned rest, Jade said she is hungry for a chance of doing what no other Taekwondo competitor has ever done and make it three golds in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in four years’ time, when she will be 27.

She touched down in the UK on Monday evening after flying back from Brazil as the pride of North Wales.
