Tickets Now Available: Coach Development Day November 5th
GB Taekwondo are delighted to offer coaches the opportunity to join us at the National Taekwondo Centre on Saturday 5th November for the second edition of our ‘Coach Development Days’.
Following on from our initial ‘Coach Development Day’ in April we are thrilled to offer coaches a follow up opportunity to share the facilities, knowledge and experience of our expert coaching and support team here in Manchester.
As in April the emphasis for the day will be shaped around sharing research, ideas and practical applications that club coaches can take away and apply in their daily practice and environments.
Our day on November 5th will aim to take a closer look, providing ideas and practical applications that coaches can harness to support the health and physical wellbeing of their athletes, whilst supporting their most aspiring athletes to prepare for the physical demands of a career in a high performance environment.
The day will again be formatted to provide a mixture of classroom based theory as well as practical activities to bring practice to life.
Confirmed facilitators to date include:
Nelson Miller – Olympic Coach and S&C Coach.
Rhys Ingram – GB Taekwondo S&R Coach.
Mark Ellison – GB Taekwondo, GB Boxing and Manchester United FC Nutritionist.
Jayne Ellis – GB Taekwondo Programme Manager.
Tickets for the day are priced at £75 per person and include refreshments and lunch for the day.
