GB TAEKWONDO DECIDE AGAINST APPEAL

We met yesterday with the British Olympic Association's Olympic Qualification Standards Panel to discuss the outstanding nomination for the Olympic Taekwondo team.

The BOA decided against ratifying the nomination in the -80kg category and has requested the selection panel be reconvened.

We have not appealed against this decision and we now plan to seek a solution as to how we resolve this situation.

We can only do this through working with the BOA and agreeing how we progress.

We have been in dialogue with them over the last 24 hours and will continue to work towards a solution.
