GB Taekwondo recruitment

GB Taekwondo aim to recruit and retain talented individuals through fair and effective recruitment and selection procedures. We value diversity and are committed to eliminating unlawful and unfair discrimination. Appointment will always be on merit.

In October 2013, GB Taekwondo achieved the Foundation level of the Equality Standard for Sport, the Preliminary level was then accomplished in July 2015 and the organisation is now moving forward with a commitment to attain the Intermediate level – progressively in line with UK Sport’s targets.

Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in GB Taekwondo is a priority and an integral part of the recruitment and selection process.

In February 2014, GB Taekwondo achieved the Preliminary Standards in Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport and continues to progress to attain the Intermediary Standard by October 2015 and progressively in line with UK Sport’s targets.

All applicants are required to complete our application form (see application pack below) and are invited to complete our monitoring form which helps us understand the demographic make-up of staff and ensure we create a positive and inclusive work environment. Accompanying information for all vacancies is contained in the information pack noted below.  Where vacancies note a requirement for an enhanced disclosure with checks to the children’s barred lists, applicants are required to note our employment of ex-offenders policy.

Talent Programme Administrator

We are searching for a dynamic individual to offer support to our Development squad. They will play a key role in the team and possess exceptional planning/organisational skills whilst being a proficient administrator. The job holder must also have the ability to communicate effectively using their interpersonal capabilities.
