GB’s Cadet Squad Ready in Romania

A 20-strong squad of Great Britain’s cadets are ready to battle it out at the ETU Cadet European Championships, which gets underway tomorrow (Thursday) in Bucharest.

The team is comprised of athletes that were selected via the national Cadet Development programme as well as those who qualified via the Presidents Cup, earlier this year.

The impressive line-up includes last year’s bronze medallists Holly Kelly (Jeon-Sa) and Matthew Guest (Lion Taekwondo), as well as, Maria Asef (TKD Machine) who also competed at the Championships in 2015.

For many of the youngsters this will be their first opportunity to represent Great Britain at a major event.

We wish the team the very best of luck over the next few days.

Live updates from Romania will be available via the @GBTaekwondo Twitter feed.
