Mahama Cho has won his Quarter Final match against Iran’s Sajjad Mardani 4-3 on golden point.

The intense fight saw the +80kg fighter score a spinning kick to the body resulting in a 3-0 lead within the first few seconds of the match.

Despite his attempts, Mardani struggled to even the score and the round ended 3-1.

During the second round, a red card was given to Cho, rewarding Mardani another point. Both fighters remained cautious and towards the final seconds of the third round Mardani finally caught up taking the match to golden point.

The cagey fighters carefully calculated their moves and the winning shot was finally scored in the last few seconds by Cho ending the game 4-3.
