Pupils From Oxford Road School To Star On Sky Sports Show


Pupils from Oxford Road Community School will star on national television after taking taekwondo lessons and tackling an assault course for a popular Sky Sports programme.

On Wednesday October 21, 83 pupils from the primary school travelled to Isleworth in London to be filmed taking part in an array of activities for the show Game Changers.

Pupils and staff were filmed for a half-term special episode at the school in Oxford Road,Reading in October 2014 after being randomly selected as one of the members of the Youth Sports Trust.

A year later they were invited to attended the Sky Sports studio and be filmed for a special Halloween episode.

After arriving the children were greeted by presenters Di Dougherty and Olympic gold medallist Darren Campbell, before being given a martial art master class by British taekwondo practitioner Bianca Walkden.
