Amy Truesdale, a powerhouse in Para taekwondo, who blazed through the Paris 2024 Games to win a Gold. She first garnered attention with her bronze medal win at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, where the sport made its thrilling debut.
Truesdale is a triple World Champion (2014, 2017, 2023) and a five-time European Champion, with her latest Gold at the 2024 European Championships.
Before receiving UK Sport funding, she worked in retail and as a coach. Outside sports, Amy dances and advocates for disability sport awareness.
