Cadets Are Ready And Rearing To Go At Euros
Performance Pathway Development Manager, Steve Green is confident in his cadet’s capabilities ahead of this year’s ETU European Championships in Strasbourg, France.
A 15-strong team, all of whom were selected from a range of clubs across the UK, will be competing from 3rd – 5th July.
The impressive line-up includes the likes of Jordyn Smith, Holly Hankin-Wray, Shayanne Sarsoza, Siena Limbu Lingden and Mason Yarrow – who have all previously attended the Cadet World Championships in 2014.
And for many of the youngsters it will be the first opportunity to represent Great Britain at a major event.
“Whilst the team have their sights on finals and medals, this will also provide an ideal learning environment for all of our elite athletes. Whilst some of them have already gained World and European Championship experience in 2014, they are still at the beginning of their journey to becoming successful senior athletes,” said Green
“I am hopeful that we will see a number of medal winning performances particularly as for six of the team, this will also serve as a final preparation ahead of the Cadet World Championships in Muju, Korea (August 2015).”
