Triple World Championship medallist, Aaliyah Powell, took GB Taekwondo’s medal tally to four at the European Games in Poland.
The 20-year-old Yorkshire fighter claimed bronze at -62kg for Team GB to add to a gold for Jade Jones, silver for Bradly Sinden and bronze for Maddison Moore.
Powell from Huddersfield defeated Milijana Reljikj of Macedonia 2-0 after losing her semi-final against Belgium’s Sarah Chaari.
“It’s all just learning and processing,” said Powell. “Qualification for Paris isn’t over yet.
“Obviously, it’s not the colour I wanted. It’s not what I came here for. But it is good to come away with something.

“There are still a lot more competitions to come, a lot more work and areas to improve on.
“I feel like as we get closer to the Games, for athletes from Olympic sports, that clock’s ticking down and we’re on the final strait now.
“I just try to take it step by step, match by match, competition by competition, and do the best I can.
“All of it will add together and, hopefully, we’ll get the result that we want,” added Powell who beat Poland’s Julia Szpak 2-0 in the quarter-finals.
Chloe Roberts from Stoke on Trent, a late substitute for injured Toky0 2020 silver medallist, Lauren Williams, reached the last eight at -67kg before bowing out against Germany’s Vanessa Koerndl 2-1.
