More Podium Success for GB Cadets
Following on from Jordyn Smith’s success, fellow team-mate Mason Yarrow has earned himself his first major medal – in the form of another bronze at the World Cadet Championships 2015 in Muju.
The youngster from Ultimate fought his way through to his Semi-Final match in the -37kg weight division, by beating Bahruz Guluzade (AZE), followed by Iranian Mohammad Rostamnezhad 21-14 before facing Tobias Hyttel in the Quarter Final.
He eventually went onto defeat his Danish opponent and made it through to his Semi-Final match before losing on Golden Point to Azerbaijani Bahruz Guluzade.
Similarly to Mason, -33kg cadet, Amrou Greenridge from Fusion also made it to the to the Quarter Final stage before bowing out to Korean Kang-Min Kim.
As for the other GB Cadets competing earlier today, Siena Limbu Lingden of Gurumu made it to her second round of the -47kg category whereas Holly Hankin-Wray from TKD Academy Liverpool lost during her first match of the day to Moroccan Safia Salih.
