Success for Sinden
7th October 2018
Bradly Sinden has won gold at the Riga Open in Latvia.
The Doncaster-born fighter beat Russia’s Konstantin Minin 23-14 in the -68kg Final and fought off tough competitors throughout the day, such as Hungary’s Andras Egyhazas, Austria’s Marcel Müller, Russia’s Boris Krasnov and Belgium’s Si Mohamed Ketbi.
There’s no doubt that the 20-year-old will see this achievement as “good practice” ahead of the World Taekwondo Grand Prix in Manchester, where he will be competing, later in the month.
As for his teammates, both Damon Sansum and Hassan Haider finished in their respective Quarter Final rounds.
