GB Taekwondo’s World Class Performance Programme will be welcoming two new recruits from its Sport England backed Talent Pathway.

Rebecca McGowan and Bradly Sinden will begin full-time training at the Manchester set up and have both previously fought as part of the Junior National Team.

Newcomer, Bradly is no stranger to when it comes to the Taekwondo circuit as he is the reigning Junior European Champion and was selected to compete at this year’s Senior European Championships alongside Olympic Champion, Jade Jones and Olympic bronze medallist, Lutalo Muhammad. He will also fight under the -68kg weight division.

As for teenage Rebecca, she has also built up quite an impressive track record and has had golden wins at her last 6 competitions – the Austrian, Dutch and Serbian Opens to name a few!

On hearing the exciting news the teenager said: “Everything that I’ve been working and training for is finally starting to come together, I can’t wait to move to Manchester and begin training.”
