Tokyo 2020 silver medallist, Lauren Williams, will no longer compete at the Krakow-Malopolska 2023 European Games after suffering a hamstring injury.

She is replaced in the -67kg category by youngster, Chloe Roberts, marking the 20-year-old’s debut performance for Team GB after her recent transition to the senior circuit.

The former kickboxer has previously won gold at the Junior European Championships in 2019 along with the Euro Club Championships last year and is a welcome addition to the squad.

In total, 177 athletes will represent Team GB across 18 Olympic disciplines at the European Games.

The Opening Ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday 21 June at the Henryk Reyman Municipal Stadium, with the Closing Ceremony to return at the same venue on Sunday 2 July after 12 days of competition.
